The Joy of TweetDeck

With new Adobe Air products showing up everyday that are making applications such as Facebook, Flickr, and news updates that much easier, it is great to see TweetDeck doing the same for Twitter.
TweetDeck is an Adobe Air desktop application that aims to evolve the existing functionality of Twitter by taking an abundance of information i.e twitter feeds, and breaking it down into more manageable bite sized pieces.
TweetDeck enables users to split their main feed (All Tweets) into topic or group specific columns allowing a broader overview of tweets. The default columns can contain All Tweets from your timeline, @replies directed to you and direct messages.
I'm sure most tech saavy user is aware of TweetDeck but I'm sure there are a lot of students in the PR/Communications field that are not. It is important to discover these applications because when grads are looking for a job in the spring and are competing with other students who may be on the "up and up" with these applications, you may be left out in the cold.
Check out the TweetDeck site for more information.
